Before the Halloween break, all the children took part in a Biodiversity workshop, Tremendous Trees with Mark from Biodiversity In Schools. This was organised by Cavan Council Council for our work on the Biodiversity Green School Flag.
The children got to explore all the different trees that are around our school grounds and create leaf rubbings and prints from leaves they collected. They also learned lots of new facts about trees and the names of the trees around our school. A huge thank you to Mark for the great fun filled workshop!
