The Arts
Corlurgan N.S. has a long history in participating in local and national art initiatives.
All children are provided with opportunities to appreciate and participate in the Arts and all children are encouraged to perform publicly.
We are proud of our ‘Literary and Artistic Achievements’ and have won local, regional and national awards for art and poetry.
Our children enjoy ‘Book Week’, creative writing, debating and quizzes.
Third and Fourth class are currently enjoying ‘Music Generation’.
Discover Primary Science and STEM
Corlurgan N.S. has multiple STEM Awards and has participated in this initiative since 2005.
This time last year we were working hard towards the STEM Award.

Health Promoting School
Corlurgan N.S. is very excited to be taking part in the Health Promoting Schools Programme. (HPS). We strongly promote the health and wellbeing of the whole school community.
We have participated in the ‘Food Dude Programme’ and for many years a Healthy eating policy has been an intrinsic element of our school.
