St Brigid’s Day

This week all the boys and girls learned about St. Brigid, who throughout her life was a kind, caring and generous person. They learned all about her life and the different stories associated with her. Junior, Senior and First completed some paper weaving to represent St. Brigid’s cloak. Second, Third and Fourth Class made some Connacht style St. Brigid’s crosses using lollipop sticks and wool and Fifth and Sixth class made some crosses with rushes, with some guidance from Ms. Browne. Well done to all the boys and girls for their fantastic creative work!
